Mostar, the old bridge. After a long drive, we finally arrived in Mostar. The weather took us by surprise - over 40 degrees Celsius! But even that couldn't dampen our excitement and happiness. As soon as we got out of the car, we could feel the special atmosphere of the city

Old bridge

The first thing we wanted to see was the famous old bridge. When we finally found ourselves on it, we were enchanted by its beauty and historical significance. The bridge was built back in the 16th century and bears witness to the rich history of this city. The architecture of the bridge is spectacular - a sturdy stone structure that rises above the Neretva River, leaving every observer breathless.

We didn't just stand and admire the bridge; we also crossed it. The feeling underfoot as you step on its ancient stone slabs is indescribable. On the other side of the bridge, we decided to explore the old town. Stone-paved streets, souvenir shops, restaurants, and the scent of traditional Bosnian cuisine all added to our experience.

We couldn't leave Mostar without souvenirs

Of course, we couldn't leave Mostar without souvenirs. We bought a colorful magnet as a reminder of this unforgettable day. But that wasn't all. After our walk and exploration, we sat down at a local café and ordered coffee. The refreshing drink and conversation with the local residents added a special touch to our journey.

It is definitely one of those places that everyone should visit

At the end of the day, we headed towards Blagaj Tekija, a place we planned to visit next time. But as we left Mostar, we felt fulfilled, with memories that we will carry with us forever.
