Chaplin's World is an entertaining museum and interactive experience center about the life and career of Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin spent the last 25 years of his life in the large Manoir de Ban house in Corsier-sur-Vevey on a slope overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. His family home has been turned into a museum while a separate studio allows visitors to experience his films and achievements as active participants.
Opening Hours of Chaplin’s World
The Charlie Chaplin Museum is open year-round, daily from 10:00 closed mostly at 18:00 but at 17:00 for most of winter and 19:00 during summer vacation.
It is open most of the holidays, except New Year's Day and Christmas Day, it's only open in the afternoon. The museum is usually closed for two weeks in mid-January.

Charlie Chaplin (Charles Spencer Chaplin, 1889 - 1977) was one of the greatest comedians and filmmakers of the mid-20th century. He was a master of silent cinema but also had great success with film with sound. The Dictator was his greatest commercial success and is still considered one of the most important and influential satirical comedies of all time.
Chaplin's World allows visitors to discover people and artists. Charlie Chaplin has lived here for the past 25 years while his films and especially his directing techniques continue to influence cinema to this day. The entertainment museum explains both Chaplin's private life, as well as the films that have brought him international fame.
About 30 wax figures of people intimately attached to Chaplin are on display and are perfect for interesting photographs:

Transportation to Chaplin’s World
Driving are the easiest way to get to Chaplin's World, Rte de Fenil 2, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland. Use exit 14 Vevey from motorway A9 or A12. A large car park (paid but with a small discount if you visit the museum) is just down the road from Chaplin's World.
The walk from Vevey train station or Vevey funicular base station will take about half an hour, but sometimes steep climb. It's easier to take bus 212 to the "Chaplin" bus stop from Vevey station, just a few minutes' walk from the boat dock on the lake. Travel time is about 15 minutes.
