After spending the night with one of the most beautiful views we've seen so far, we decided to continue our journey to Mostar. We got up, had coffee, had breakfast, and headed towards Mostar. Despite the heat, it didn't dampen our spirits. Before reaching Mostar, we decided to make a detour to the Jablanica Museum.

The Jablanica Museum is a gem of this region

The Jablanica Museum is a gem of this region and a perfect place for those who want to delve deeper into the history and culture of the area. Located next to the dam on the Neretva River, the museum is dedicated to World War II and the special battle that took place here. Inside the museum, you'll find a vast collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents that depict the life and struggles of the people during that period.

A better understanding of the historical events

By visiting the Jablanica Museum, we gained a better understanding of the historical events that shaped this area. We learned more about the heroic battle and the challenges they faced. Though it was difficult and emotional, the museum visit allowed us to have a deeper appreciation for what we have today.

We continued on to Mostar.

After enriching our knowledge at the Jablanica Museum, we continued on to Mostar. But I'll write about that part of our journey in another article.

Plan your visit to the Museum.
