Sarajevo is truly a beautiful city with a rich history and culture. Our visit began early in the morning, traveling for about 3 hours to reach this enchanting city. Morning is usually one of the most beautiful parts of the day, and with the rain falling, it was a challenge to choose the right clothing.

When we finally arrived in Sarajevo, we felt the warmth of family and hospitable welcome. We visited relatives of D and spent some time in pleasant company. After D's parents went to the neighbor's, we decided to explore the city further.

Baščaršija, the heart of the old town, was our first choice for sightseeing. We were delighted by the traditional markets, artisan shops, and the aroma of Bosnian specialties. Our visit to the Eternal Flame, a symbol of Sarajevo and a monument reflecting the importance of remembering the past, followed.

We enjoyed exploring the city and its beautiful architecture. Baščaršija truly captivated us with its atmosphere and spirit. If you want to savor authentic Bosnian food, it's essential to visit the "Zeljo" restaurant, which was a perfect choice for lunch.

After a wonderful time spent in Sarajevo, we returned to our hotel to plan the next day and upcoming activities. With so much more to see and experience, we simply knew that we would come back to this gorgeous city again.

Without a doubt, Sarajevo is one of those destinations we would love to visit again and again, as we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
