Our first visit was to tour the Fortress of Srebrenik. Like every morning, we got up and had coffee together for breakfast, enjoying these moments of planning our itinerary for the day. It wasn't a long drive from the hotel to the fortress, perhaps just about an hour, and the road was good, allowing us to arrive quickly. However, as rain slowly began to fall, we thought it might spoil our day. Fortunately, the rain stopped quickly, which delighted us and allowed us to continue our planned trip.

Its long and interesting history dates back to the Middle Ages when the fortress played a crucial role as a defensive stronghold. Over the centuries, it changed hands between various owners and witnessed numerous military conflicts that shaped its appearance and significance.

As we were already in the same city where D's family lives, we decided to take the opportunity and visit them. We spent some time with them, maybe 2-3 hours, engaging in pleasant conversations and enjoying each other's company. After that, we continued our journey to the fortress. After another 10-15 minutes of driving, we finally reached the fortress.
The view from the fortress immediately enchanted us. The beautiful panorama that stretched before us was truly incredible. We were impressed by the architecture and well-preserved walls, which undoubtedly is the reason why the Fortress of Srebrenik stands out as a special travel destination.

After exploring the fortress and learning about its history, we regretted that our time on the journey was quickly coming to an end.
